As per last year, we will crown winners for road, off road and team competitions in both male and female categories, along with special mentions for new members who have gone all in, and our most improved runners. The competition runs from January-October each year and the winners are announced at our annual awards night and club AGM which is usually mid-October. Focus on your favourite or go for glory in all three\u2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have made the following changes for 2026:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) The amount of Peco points available for Pool B has been capped at 30; this will allow members who are unable to attend every race to achieve maximum points.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) The methodology for Most Improved has been simplified, read about the new criteria&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/chapelallertonrunners.ning.com\/page\/most-improved-runner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee would like to thank you for all the feedback received regarding the new format of the Club Championships. It helps level the playing field and make the club championships relevant regardless of your age. We use the World Athletics 2015 age grades for our results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>What is Power of 10?<\/em><em><br><\/em>Power of 10 is a free online portal which collates all of your race performances in one place. We use it to gather our data for the club championships so you\u2019ll need to be signed up to Power of 10 to participate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Results<\/em><em><br><\/em>Results updates will be provided every other month via Facebook, Whatsapp, broadcast emails and on here.&nbsp;<br>March<br>May<br>July<br>September<br>Final results at the AGM &amp; Awards night in October&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Are there any other rules?<\/em><em><br><\/em>You must be a first claim member of CAR.
